EcoVadis has awarded Thermotraffic GmbH the Bronze Medal for sustainable and responsible business practices. The award recognizes the internationally active food and pharmaceutical logistics company’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and responsible corporate governance.
EcoVadis assesses companies worldwide based on their performance in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Bronze Medal highlights that Thermotraffic has already established effective processes and measures for sustainable corporate development.
“For us, sustainability is not a short-term trend, but an integral part of our corporate strategy. The EcoVadis award confirms that we are on the right path and motivates us to continue expanding our activities consistently,” says Marcus Stühlinger, Managing Director of Thermotraffic.
In addition to the EcoVadis rating, Thermotraffic already holds several recognized certifications and standards, including the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management as well as ISO 27001 and ISO 50001 certifications. These certifications underline the company’s high standards in sustainability, information security, and systematic energy management.
Another key component of the company’s sustainability strategy is the use of BIO-LNG trucks in national and international transportation operations. This alternative drive technology enables a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to conventional drive systems. The expansion of the BIO-LNG fleet is already planned and will be consistently advanced in the coming years.
As a specialist in temperature-controlled food and pharmaceutical logistics, Thermotraffic aims to sustainably combine economic success with environmental responsibility.
